About Me

I find that I’m either reading books or watching movies during most of my free time. Watching movies is fun, because it its uses all your senses and is hence, a very powerful medium of expression. And, if there is something written, and I can get my hand on it, then I will read it!!..A compulsive reader, I find reading intensely engaging. It transports me into a whole new world, and I can feel myself living a part of the story..Talented writers have a way of keeping capturing your attention by weaving a magical web of words, and I enjoy the fact that I can build that world entirely according to my imagination.

However, I found that immediately after I read the book, I would think about the story, the characters, the twists and the message would be fresh in my mind. But, as time passes, the thoughts and feelings would also diffuse and melt away..When I now look back and try think of the books that I have read over the years, and what I have assimilated from all of them, then I realise that  mostly all those intense opinions and feelings have faded ..They remain to me as a remnant of the  thoughts and expressions which were once poignant, but have now blurred with time..

So, I wondered if there was a way for me to capture these emotions in their most intense moments, and keep them with me forever. Therefore, this blog was born!! :) The benefit of blogging is that it forces you to write sensibly and not just some globbedygook. So, I decided to pen down my perceptions about any movie I watch, or book I read.. Not really a review of sorts,  but a memoir of some things that caught my attention, so that I can read it some day in future and smile when I recollect it!
